Since Cineworld opened its very first site in Stevenage in 1996, Martek has been a trusted partner in delivering the brand’s high-impact customer spaces. Today, with 90 cinemas across the UK, Cineworld is known for its futuristic ambience—vibrant LED lighting, dynamic sightlines and immersive digital displays—and Martek has played a key role in bringing this vision to life.
Working closely with Cineworld’s construction and operations teams, as well as architects such as NBDA, we design, manufacture and install all customer-facing areas. This includes expansive concession stands, box offices, ice cream cafés, pick-and-mix stores, VIP bars and premium lounge spaces. Our remit extends to the procurement and installation of all third-party equipment, ensuring seamless integration of every operational element.
