Design, manufacture, and installation of a bespoke reception joinery package.
To create a distinctive and welcoming new entrance that reflects the building’s industrial heritage while establishing a contemporary identity.
Dating back to the 1930s, Harella House was originally a garment factory for Harella Clothing. Its large industrial windows—installed to accommodate heavy machinery—now flood the interior with natural daylight and define the character of the space.
Working in collaboration with BW Workplace Experts and Piercy & Company, Martek delivered a new main reception entrance on Goswell Road, providing a clear and confident arrival point to the building.
The reception desk flows seamlessly into a stepped element, blurring the boundary between furniture and architecture and creating a truly bespoke focal point.
The result is a refined, characterful reception space that respects the building’s heritage while supporting its modern use as a contemporary workplace.
