Martek delivered a comprehensive joinery package for the £430 million Southmead Hospital in Bristol — a flagship facility for North Bristol NHS Trust designed by BDP. The project involved the supply and installation of specialist joinery throughout this 800-bed hospital, known for its award-winning, non-institutional design and focus on light, quality and connection to nature.

Working across all three atria and the expansive public concourse, Martek was responsible for reception counters, nursing bases, the multi-faith sanctuary and a wide range of bespoke joinery features throughout patient and public areas.
